WALLACE, Velma Eileen (Eileen)
On Saturday, July 22, in her 98th year. Predeceased by her mother, Zeta Wallace, nee Rutherford, her father, John, and her brother John (Jack). Survived by her sister, Helen Wearing, and missed by nephews Paul (Sara-Jane) and Robert Wearing (Jeri-Lynn). Fondly remembered by her great nieces Katie (Chris), Joanna (Ross), and great nephew, John (Jen), and great, great niece, Violet. Also remembered by her friend Susan (Mitchell) Pahads. Eileen was a lifelong resident of Fenelon Falls. She worked many years for Webster Brothers on Bond Street. She was an avid gardener, and took great delight in discovering new plants for her garden, and in identifying the birds and butterflies attracted by their blooms. Eileen had a great curiosity about life. The family of Eileen Wallace will receive friends at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION & TRIBUTE CENTRE, 8 Princes’ St. West, Fenelon Falls on Saturday, July 29, 2017 from 10:30 a.m. until time of funeral service in the chapel at 11 a.m. Interment at Fenelon Falls Cemetery.
