Smithers, Willa Doreen

Suddenly on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay. Willa (nee Martin) Smithers of St. Albans Road, Bobcaygeon was in her 72 year. Beloved wife of the late Fred Smithers (2005). Loving mother of Krista Smithers and James Strum of Bobcaygeon and step-mother of Brian Smithers of Woodstock and the late Gary Smithers (2018). Willa was the devoted daughter of Thelma Martin and the late Wallace Martin (2003). She will be sadly missed by her siblings; Miles and wife Jayne Martin of Bobcaygeon, Carolyn and her husband Jonathan Mutch of Winnipeg, Ivan and Heather Martin of Bradford, Leonard Martin and Deborah Martin also of Bobcaygeon and is survived by her many nieces and nephews. She will be fondly remembered by her sister-in-laws; Pamela Martin and Joyce McPherson. The family of Willa Smithers will receive friends at CHRIST CHURCH ANGLICAN, 43 Sherwood Street, Bobcaygeon, on Tuesday, October 23rd from 12:00 Noon until the time of funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Cremation to follow.
