DYSON, Donald (Don):
Dad passed away on his wedding anniversary with his family at his side at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Thursday June 7, 2018, in his 88th year. Don was the beloved husband of the late Barb Dyson (Nee Dalton) (2017). Loving father of Anita and her husband Wayne Pike, Sharon and her husband Lloyd Taggart, June and her husband Glen Swanton, Ruby and her boy friend Brian Baker. Devoted grandfather of ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Don will be remembered by his brother Harry Dyson and sister Dorothy McPherson(Edward). Pre-deceased by his sister Thelma Southam, brothers-in-law; Doug Green and Fred Southam and sister-in-law Jean Dyson. Don will be missed by his nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews. Sadly missed by Don and Barb’s special friend Maggie, and his guitar and hydro buddies. A gathering of family and friends will take place at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 8 Princes' St. West, Fenelon Falls on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Don was in Air Cadets in Toronto as a teenager. He worked for Ontario Hydro for 35 years in Brampton, Toronto and Fenelon Falls. He was an avid outdoors man, loved camping, fishing and was a self taught guitar player. While living in Brampton he had a band called Belairs. Don was devoted to his family.We would like to personally thank Dad's neighbours; Mike Sternberg, Janet and Charlotte Therien who were there for dad, who came to his aid, calling the ambulance and performing CPR. Thank you, we were able to be with him in the hospital at PRHC. He was surrounded by his family as he left this world.
